Centennial College is bringing back its Ontario-based “Show and Shine” automotive exhibit following a five-year hiatus. The event is one example of how automotive businesses and schools are becoming more active as they leave the most intense period of the pandemic behind.
The event will be held by Centennial’s School of Transportation faculty. It will take place at its Ashtonbee Campus near Eglinton and Warden (75 Ashtonbee Road) in Scarborough on May 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Centennial College’s School of Transportation is conducting tours of its automotive and heavy-duty truck labs — the place where careers in transportation get started!” said the school in its news release.
The show is free, while exhibitors pay $10 to show off their vehicles. On display will be classic and vintage cars, custom hot rods and tuner cars, and trucks and motorcycles. Employees and graduates, along with members of the public, will be in attendance.
The event will also include a DJ, sponsor booths, vendors, prizes, and airbag demonstrations.
