Canadians driving VinFast electric vehicles may soon find that, when charging their EVs through FLO’s network of public level 2 and DC fast chargers, they will benefit from a more seamless charging experience.
That is according to EV charging network operator FLO, which said in a news release that the charging integration will allow VinFast drivers in Canada to launch charging sessions from the company’s app or directly from the vehicle’s navigation system, giving them access to immediate charging.
“Partnering with companies like VinFast broadens FLO’s network and community, ensuring more EV drivers have access to the optimal charging experience FLO provides across North America,” said Louis Tremblay, President and CEO of FLO, in a statement. “Adding VinFast drivers to the FLO network is just the latest step in our mission of driving toward a zero-carbon future and helping overcome climate change.”
Tremblay also said the company will continue to partner with more OEMs to ensure their customers make full use of FLO’s network to “stay charged up and on the go.” In the meantime, the EV charging operator is focused on providing that instant access to drivers using its public charging stations, which are deployed throughout the country.
