A partnership between a global automotive trading platform and an automotive inspection company could make life easier for dealers.
On May 9, TRADE X announced that it had integrated PAVE’s vehicle inspection API into its platform as part of a strategic partnership. It’s a move that will allow sellers to easily and more accurately capture detailed inspection information within the marketplace’s user account.
“Ensuring the quality and safety of vehicles transacted through the TRADE X marketplace is a top priority for us, and we believe that the integration of PAVE’s vehicle inspection API will be a huge benefit to our customers,” said Eric Gosselin, COO of TRADE X, in a statement.
According to TRADE X, allowing dealers to inspect vehicles before buying them paves the way for a more trustworthy purchasing process. It also protects sellers from condition disputes upon delivery.
PAVE’s vehicle inspection API offers a graded condition report with detailed information on a vehicle’s condition. It’s supposed to be easy to use for dealers, and it should give buyers some peace-of-mind when making their purchase.
“By simply capturing photos of their vehicles, TRADE X dealers will automatically receive a detailed condition report with their vehicle listing,” said Jameel Ghata, Chief Strategy Officer of PAVE, in a statement. “Providing trust, transparency, and efficiency in vehicle inspections is core to PAVE’s mission and we are eager to bring our inspection solutions to the TRADE X global digital marketplace.”
PAVE is powered by Intelligent Damage Detection capabilities. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ont., while TRADE X is headquartered in Canada with a presence in other countries around the globe.
