Western Dealer Summit coming up: new mystery guest expected

This year, dealers planning on attending the Western Dealer Summit can expect to do so at the Fairmont Château Lake Louise in Alberta between November 16-19, 2023.

The Summit is a partnership between the Motor Dealers Association of Alberta, the New Car Dealers of BC, and the Saskatchewan Auto Dealers Association. It will feature its first “Mystery Speaker” with an OEM and auto retail background from Ford.

In addition, several speakers have already been announced, including Jeremy Roenick, who has a 20-year NHL career; Charlie Vogelheim, the principal of Vogelheim Ventures; and Brian Sencich, the new Head of Industry, Automotive at TikTok Canada. Sencich will share information about TikTok’s newly released Dealer Guidebook, which includes dealership-tailored strategies.

Dealers can also expect to hear from George Nenni, the founder of Generations Digital (a technology marketing analytics firm); Mathew Growden, the head of the Google Canada’s auto retail team; and Joy Hawkins, owner and founder of SEO-focused company Sterling Sky.

Art Angielski, dealer principal of Sherwood Park Toyota, will be participating in the new super session that will explore the landscape of modern dealership operations. More information about the event is available here, while dealers can register here.
