Another company, this time electric vehicle charging manufacturer ZEROVA Technologies, will equip its charging stations in both the United States and Canada with North American Charging Standard connectors.
Other EV makers have also announced plans to ensure their solutions include NACS connectors. ZEROVA Technologies plans to offer them on both its AC and DC products starting in the last quarter of the year. They will also make NACS retrofit kits available for authorized partners to install on chargers that have already been deployed.
“We are thrilled with the growing demand for NACS worldwide,” said Manny Huguez, Vice President of Sales at ZEROVA Technologies USA, in a statement. “As a leader in delivering diversified EV charging solutions, this launch will bring greater flexibility and charging speeds to customers while contributing to the flourishing growth of North American EV infrastructure.”
The company’s product line includes EV chargers that range from 30kW to 480kW. Once it adds the NACS connector to its compact EV charging station (which will allow for the integration of DC and AC charging capabilities), EV drivers will be able to enjoy reduced wait times and greater charging performance and flexibility.
