Gubagoo is teaming up with AutoTrader to help boost customer engagement and lead opportunities for dealerships in Canada.
Gubagoo is a provider of digital retailing and messaging solutions for dealerships in North America. The partnership with AutoTrader, announced on August 18, will see its messaging software integrated into AutoTrader Canada’s online platform—allowing dealers to chat with consumers in real-time, while they shop for their vehicle.
“It is great to see two companies at the forefront of their respective industries collaborating to improve the experience for car buyers and dealerships,” said Brad Title, President of Gubagoo, in a news release.
Gubagoo said the integration creates lead generation opportunities for dealers, pulling from a pool of over 25 million monthly site visits to the AutoTrader online marketplace. The company plans to launch the integration in both English and French across two phases, starting on August 24.
Phase one of the integration will see the chat software available on AutoTrader desktop and mobile sites, while phase two will see it implemented into AutoTrader’s mobile applications—including iOS and Android.
