AutoCanada plans to expand its existing strategic relationship with Kijiji so its dealerships can benefit from greater access to Kijiji’s car shopping audience while consumers can browse more of the dealer group’s inventory.
The expanded partnership means that Kijiji will have access to AutoCanada’s North American inventory, which is meant to provide consumers with a broader selection of vehicles on the Kijiji platform. The online marketplace will also integrate AutoCanada’s Used Digital consumer solutions.
“Kijiji has been a trusted business partner since 2018 and we are very excited to expand our relationship across both our franchise and used vehicle initiatives,” said Paul Antony, Executive Chairman of AutoCanada, in a statement. “The integration of AutoCanada Used Digital consumer solutions on the Kijiji platform will also accelerate our existing efforts on the used vehicle segment of our business.”
As for Kijiji’s Head of Autos Leanne Kripp, she said she was thrilled to continue the partnership. “We’re confident this extended partnership will further improve the customer experience as we continue to provide AutoCanada’s strong inventory offering to over 10 million users,” she said in a statement.
AutoCanada operates 82 franchised dealerships and 28 brands in eight provinces in Canada and a group in Illinois in the United States.
