News fit to print — and stream

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one who felt a bit overwhelmed by the firehose of information presented at the fourth annual CADA Summit.

As speaker after speaker took to the stage, they delivered a rapid fire overview of the major forces at work that are changing the business landscape for dealers.

If you were in the room for the jam-packed day, you couldn’t help but absorb some of the major learnings that these leading experts were serving up.

In our interviews with dealers at the event, they told us that for them, there’s no better place to come for one day and gain so much information that is relevant to help them run their dealerships more effectively.

From economic issues, a heads up about tightening credit from the banks, new design trends, Canada’s changing demographics, and above all, the evolving consumer experience, it was all presented in a well-organized and tightly-run event.

It was also a full day for the Canadian auto dealer team, who for the fourth year, were the exclusive media partner promoting and covering the event.

During the event, our team of editors, photographers, videographers and our web team were covering the CADA Summit from every angle.

It’s our commitment to you to remain the leading source of news, features and commentary, that is laser focused on the needs of Canada’s auto dealers.

From live tweets, full articles and photos posted just moments after the speakers left the stage, and live video interviews from the event — we produced our own firehose of content for those not able to attend the sold-out event.

We have published a small subset of those articles in this issue, but I’d encourage you to visit the Canadian auto dealer website to find more content from the CADA Summit.

Those of you who attended will be able to re-live the day and review some of the content presented, and you will also be able to watch videos featuring behind the scenes interviews with speakers and others from the event. Many of those interviews were streamed live.

We are all in this industry together, and anytime there’s a major event with information available that can help dealers better manage their businesses, the Canadian auto dealer team aims to be there to cover it for you.

It’s our commitment to you to remain the leading source of news, features and commentary, that is laser focused on the needs of Canada’s auto dealers.

Keep an eye out at the end of March for our extensive NADA coverage from Las Vegas. Our team will be there to create another full package of stories, photos and videos for those not able to make the trek this year. So, stay tuned!
