Maryann Keller will offer her deep insights into the used car market when she appears at CADEX in September
Maryann Keller, one of North America’s most respected experts on the automotive industry, will be joining us at our CADEX event this September. This is big news, as Maryann knows this business like few others.
To have a chance to hear her thoughts, in a presentation and discussion specifically tailored to Canadian new car dealers, is a rare opportunity. Maryann’s presentation will focus on remarketing and building a successful used car operation. Along with a presentation and discussion, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly.
Maryann knows used cars. In 2005 Royal Media Group published The Keller Report on Remarketing: A Definitive Guide for the Auto Industry. This report chronicled the transformation of the wholesale automotive industry as technology facilitated the wholesale buying and selling of cars on line.
Her career has had many other highlights as well.
During a 28 year career on Wall Street Maryann was named one of the top three auto analysts on Wall Street for twelve consecutive years. She served as a member of the National Academy of Sciences panel studying Corporate Average Fuel Economy, playing an important role in framing the debate over fuel economy.
She has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University, New York University, Lehigh University and MIT. Maryann has been a frequent guest on business and financial programs aired on BBC, Bloomberg, CNN, NPR and CNBC.
Maryann is a member of the Board of Directors of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, and served on the Board of Directors of Sonic Automotive. She served on the Board of Directors of Falcon Financial from its public offering through the time of its acquisition by iStar Financial. From 2005 to 2009 Maryann served on the Board of Directors of Lithia Motors. Lithia sells Toyota, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Honda, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet & Ford through 86 stores in 13 states.
This will be a fun session, and I hope to see many of you there.
